There are so many exciting things happening that I hardly know where to begin. We have received full governmental support for Grupo Mariana developments Seaside Mariana Spa & Golf Resort and Isla Mariana Beach & Marina Resort and the support of Daniel Ortega
We’re excited to announce a new coastal highway (scheduled for November 2010) that will extend directly to the entrance of our beach community. We will be one of the few projects with a fully paved road from the international airport directly to our front entrance. We have also received support from Ministry of Transportation and Ministry of Tourism, Municipality of San Rafael Del Sur and Diriamba.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Culture we have initiating an archaeological excavation program to unearth Nicaraguan artifacts that date back to 500BC. These artifacts will be preserved in an on site museum that will be open to the public.
We have submitted our Development Permits to two city councils and received approval in September of 2007. We also submitted our Environmental Permit MARENA application and expect final approval in March of 2010.
Further, our Disclosure in Canada will be filed in December of 2009. The SEC filing of our Founder Member Offering will be submitted in November of 2007. And our HUD registration is scheduled for February of 2010.
Over the course of the year, fluctuations in the market and the economy prompted our development team to re-evaluate our planned offering, based on consumer feedback and interests. In addition to our 200+ Home Sites and 36 Condominiums sold to early investors, Grupo Mariana has also designed an enclave of affordable luxury, the success of which is bolstered by the presence of a soon to be named 5-Star Hospitality Brand with which we have just entered into a letter of intent.
