London based Convex Capital, an investment specialist and advisory firm, has formed a strategic alliance with Grupo Mariana to provide investment planning especially suited to Grupo Mariana’s portfolio of exclusive luxury resorts.

Convex Capital has been involved in over £500 million of asset disposal transactions. Convex Capital provides cohesive corporate funding strategies to a variety of funding sources, including high net worth individuals, institutional investors and sovereign wealth funds. The aim of the strategic alliance is to attract approximately 200 million dollars, which will be placed into Grupo Mariana Family of Resort properties. This will also enable Grupo Mariana to increase support to Fundación Mariana, which provides resources to local Nicaraguan communities.

Convex Capital provides objective advice to investors, entrepreneurs and companies worldwide. Convex Capital is also involved with corporate finance, strategic consultancy and property related activities. In Spain, the Caribbean, North Africa and India, Convex Capital was involved in projects that raised over €1 billion of funding in the year 2008 alone.

Convex Capital’s alliance with Grupo Mariana Family of Resorts marks the first venture for the company in Central America.
 

Stewart Title Latin America

Grupo Mariana is proud of the strategic alliance that has been formed with Stewart Title Latin America, which will provide Grupo Mariana and its buyers with title commitment and title guarantee, escrow services, underwriting and loan servicing.

Stewart Title Latin America is the exclusive representative in Mexico, Central America, Panama and the Caribbean for the Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Stewart Title Guarantee Company is engaged in the issuance of title guaranties and will recommend the issuance of title guarantees for all properties under the umbrella of Grupo Mariana Family of Resorts.

In addition, within the Mortgage Services Division, Stewart Title Latin America is capable of processing loans that are guaranteed to be in full compliance with local lenders and lenders from the United States.
